So much is going on in the anime community these days. Tokyo Revengers is coming with a second season, My Hero Academia is returning with its season 6, and now we also have the news for Record of Ragnarok season 2. With the announcement of so many legendary anime, it feels like a festive season is going on for anime lovers.

Shūmatsu no Warukyūre, better known as Record of Ragnarok, is a Japanese anime full of adventure and martial arts. While the story is written by Shinya Umemura and Takumi Fukui, Ajichika works on its illustrations. It's a great anime for those who love to see gods and other mythological characters from different cultures. Record of Ragnarok's manga started in 2017, but it's gained significant popularity since then. The first season of the Record of Ragnarok anime started airing in June 2021 with a total of 12 episodes. Since then, the fans have been waiting to hear something about the show's renewal. Well, here it is.

Record of Ragnarok Season 2 Confirmed With A New Visual

The official Twitter account of Record of Ragnorok recently confirmed that the new season of the series will arrive in 2023. Soon after that, Warner Bros. Japan retweeted the news. Warner Bros. produced the first season of the series, and it's safe to assume that it will produce the second season as well. As Netflix has licensed the show, new episodes will be available to watch on the streaming platform.

The announcement for season 2 was made with a new teaser visual that shows the main characters from the show. We can see Brynhildr, Reifuku, Buddha, Heracles, Jack the Reaper, Shiva, and Raiden in the new visual. You can see the illustration shared by the creators below:

Right now, not much information is out regarding the upcoming season. But the official website of Record of Ragnarok confirms that they will share more details at the Anime Expo event scheduled for July 2022.
