If you wanted to listen to the smooth, old-timey tunes of Red Dead Redemption 2, Rockstar Games has some great

" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">news for you. The official soundtrack for the 2018 game will be available in July.

The Music of Red Dead Redemption 2: Original Soundtrack collects 13 of the vocal tracks recorded for Red Dead Redemption 2. The soundtrack is being produced by 11-time Grammy Award winner Daniel Lanois. He has worked with artists like Bob Dylan, Neil Young, and Willie Nelson. He called the world of Red Dead "a place for my imagination to run wild". This is easy to hear in the powerful tracks that accompany Arthur's journey through the American West.

The soundtrack features vocal performances from D'Angelo, Willie Nelson, Rhiannon Giddens, Josh Homme, and an additional track from David Ferguson. If you decide to pre-order the collection, you'll be able to instantly download two tracks: "Crash of Worlds" by Rocco DuLuca and "Table Top" by Lanois.

I've listened to each song a few times since Rockstar put them out on Twitter. Both are solid additions that certainly capture the overall tone of Red Dead Redemption 2. They don't fit into my personal musical genres of choice, but if you like this type of music, I could see them easily fitting into your rotation.

The Music of Red Dead Redemption 2: Orginal Soundtrack drops on July 12. If you haven't already picked up Red Dead Redemption 2, you can grab it now on PS4 and Xbox One. Check out a sample of the two pre-order tracks below.
