Red Dead Redemption 2 Will Land on Google Stadia at Launch

Rockstar quietly revealed that Red Dead Redemption 2 will also be dropping on Stadia next month.

Along with being revealed to be coming to PC next month, Rockstar Games also quietly announced today that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be landing on Google’s game streaming platform Stadia as well.

Rockstar revealed this information as a mere footnote in its blog post today touching on details about Red Dead Redemption 2’s arrival on PC. The end of the post stated that the game “will also be available this November as a launch title for Google Stadia.” Further information on what those who purchase this version of RDR2 might receive as potential bonuses was not divulged.

We previously knew that Rockstar was working on games for the Stadia platform, but specifics of what games might be heading to the streaming service weren’t detailed. It stood to reason that Red Dead Redemption 2 would be a high-possibility, but because the PC version hadn’t been announced yet, many had doubts that it would come to Stadia but spurn PC. At the end of the day though, it’ll now just be coming to both platforms so everyone can be happy.

As of now, we don’t even have a specific launch date for Stadia, but you’d imagine Google will touch on this more in the coming weeks. We’ll keep you posted on this information as it comes to light.
