Rockstar games is known for giving out kick ass goodies when you pre-order their games. I think they invented the official game T-Shirt pre-order when I think about it. If you recall back to the launch of GTA: IV (although it was a special edition and not a pre-order deal) the game, for a price, came with a bank robbing kit which included a T-shirt, ski-mask, and a lock box. Now with such a reputation, Rockstar can only raise the bar right? Well for this coming April, those who pre-order the cowboy epic Red Dead Redemption will receive, wait for it...an in game outfit! You're probably saying to yourself "what the fuck?" As am I, wondering what the hell rockstar is thinking. If i put down $5 at lamestop for a pre-order bonus, I am not walking out without either A) a cowboy hat B) a horse or C) some kick ass spurs that attach to sneakers. One thing to point out, which is semi-cool i guess, is that they will be allowing fans to vote on their favorite outfit and that will be the one available when you pre-order the game.

“We’re privileged to have fans that are just as passionate about our games as we are," said Alex Moulle-Berteaux, head of marketing for Rockstar Games. "Having fans choose their own pre-order bonus is a unique way to let them be a part of Red Dead Redemption.”

My only hope is that one of the said outfits will happen to be bullet proof, and give you giant hulkbuster hands that let you make buildings explode when you punch them. One can only hope.
