Red Dead Redemption Remake Is Like GTA Trilogy, RDR 2 PS5 Announcement More Likely in 2022

According to Twitter user AccNGT, Red Dead Redemption Remake is indeed in development. However, he does end up stating that there is very little probability that we might see an announcement related to the Red Dead Redemption remake this year. He says that there is a pretty good chance we might be seeing Red Dead Redemption 2 next-gen patch announcement this year, something fans have been eagerly waiting for.

Despite asserting confidence in the possible announcement, he further states that there is a very low chance that we might see a 2022 release. AccNGT further gave some information to DualShockers about the Red Dead Redemption Remake. He states that it will be more of a remaster-remake, something similar to the GTA Trilogy. He reiterates that there is a higher probability of a RDR 2 patch announcement than the remake being revealed this year.
