For long time fans of Rockstar Games' epic western Red Dead Redemption, today is a day worth celebrating as the long-requested title has debuted on Xbox One via backwards compatibility, with some of the game's various DLC now available at the absolute low price of "free."

Alongside the launch of Red Dead Redemption for Xbox One, the game's backwards compatibility launch is also being celebrated with several of the game's DLC add-ons now free for users to download with the game.

Specifically, five pieces of DLC are available free to players for Red Dead Redemption, where players can grab the Hunting and Trading Pack, the Outlaws to the End Co-Op Mission Pack (for online co-op missions), and the game's three multiplayer add-ons: Liars and Cheats, Legends and Killers, and Myths and Mavericks.

The game's expansion Undead Nightmare is not free, though still available to purchase at its original price of $9.99, while the base game is currently available to purchase from the Xbox Live Ultimate Game Sale for 65% off (or 75% off for Gold members).

Red Dead Redemption is available for PS3 and Xbox 360, with the game now also available on Xbox One through backwards compatibility.
