Rejoice Fellow Knights of the Lady! Bretonnia Shall be Playable in Total War: Warhammer

on April 20, 2016 11:36 AM

Bretonnia has always been treated like the red-headed stepchild of the Warhammer world by game developers working on Games Workshop’s franchise, so today’s announcement comes as sweet for someone like me, who played the tabletop game as a follower of the Lady for decades.

Sega and The Creative Assembly announced today with a press release that Bretonnia will be playable from day one in Total War: Warhammer in custom battles and multiplayer.

While the announcement doesn’t mention it, this pretty much sets the faction as a prime candidate for inclusion in the grand campaign down the line.

If you want to see the shining Bretonnian knights and the filthy peasants in action, you can check out the video below.

Total War: Warhammer Launches on May 24th exclusively for PC.
