Rejoice! We'll Be Seeing More of Catherine

Catherine, the puzzle/platform/thriller game out of Atlus, has sold amazingly well in Japan, and is looking forward to an equally lucrative Western release later this summer. Given that, Atlus’ parent company, Index Holdings, has said they have plans to turn Catherine into a full-fledged franchise for the company. This could me offshoots to various platforms, such as Nintendo’s 3DS, which Atlus is giving much love to already. This isn’t to mention the genres it could branch off into.

We already know the Shin Megami Tensei franchise, as well as the well-received Etrian Odyssey titles, are pretty big hits for the developer. Could we soon be seeing RPG iterations of Catherine, or similar titles? Shooters? God-forbid, iOS and Android versions? The question here is – do we mind seeing this awesome and sexy artwork from Team Persona everywhere we look? Your answer should be “Absolutely not!” and if it isn’t, shame on you!
