Today, developer Giant Sparrow and publisher Annapurna Interactive (as previously reported Sony is no longer publishing the game for unknown reasons) released a new trailer for the highly anticipated What Remains of Edith Finch.

Never heard of What Remains of Edith Finch. No problem -- here's everything you need to know:

What Remains of Edith Finch is a collection of strange tales about a family in Washington state. As Edith, you’ll explore the colossal Finch house, searching for stories as she explores her family history and tries to figure out why she's the last one in her family left alive. Each story you find lets you experience the life of a new family member on the day of their death, with stories ranging from the distant past to the present day.

Giant Sparrow's previous game The Unfinished Swan was one of the best games on PS3 in 2012 in my opinion, and so I'm super stoked for this game. Admittedly, I was worried a drop because the game went dark for so long, but the new trailer has squashed all of my concerns, as it looks superb.

Below, you can check out the new trailer. What Remains of Edith Finch is set to release sometime in spring 2017 for PS4 and PC.
