Remake of Outcast Coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in March 2017

After an unsuccessful Kickstarter campaign to remake the original 1999 PC game Outcast, developer Appeal Studio have reached a deal with publisher Bigben Interactive. The remake is now set for a March 2017 release on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Outcast was a 1999 Sci-Fi game for PC, which saw Cutter Slade save Earth from a rip in spacetime. The creators of Outcast obtained the rights from publisher Atari in 2013, and released an enhanced edition on Steam back in 2014.

Now titled Outcast: Second Contact, Appeal Studio has released some screenshots of their current build of the game, which you can view in the image gallery below. The game will be presented at Gamescom 2016 in Cologne, from August 17th-19th at Hall 2.1, Stand #B012.
