We're now approaching the second half of Rent-A-Girlfriend Season 2, as Episode 7 is set to premiere later this week. Fans are eager to pick up where Episode 6 left off last week, and thankfully there's not long left to go until the series continues.

When it comes to all of the currently airing rom-com animes, Rent-A-Girlfriend is undoubtedly the one with the highest viewership. The first season of the series gained huge popularity back in 2020, and Season 2 has continued to live up to fan expectations. The timely ups and downs, challenging situations, and little pieces of romance and comedy made this series a perfect watch for the viewers.

The current season is scheduled to run for 12 episodes, just like season one. It means we still have a few more episodes left to watch after Episode 7 airs later this week. Currently, there's no official word regarding Season 3 of the series, but given the huge popularity of the show and its currently ongoing manga, there's every reason to believe the show will be renewed for another season.

Rent-A-Girlfriend Season 2, Episode 7, will release on Friday, August 12th, 2022, or Saturday, August 13th, 2022, depending on your location. In Japan, the episode will release on local channels like ABC and TV Asahi. As for international fans, Crunchyroll has licensed the show. Rent-A-Girlfriend Season 2 Episode 6 Recap

In the previous episode of Rent-A-Girlfriend, Kazuya and Chizuru meet and she thanks him for the birthday present. He wants her to spend her birthday with him, which means he wants to rent her. But she turns him down as she already has drinking plans with her friends. Kazuya is asked by his friends to join them at a drinking party, to which he agrees. At the party, Kazuya and Chizuru encounter each other, which comes as a surprise to both of them.

Later in the party, Chizuru's friends tease her for her introverted nature, and they try to remove her glasses, which might reveal her identity. They also play a drinking game, and Kazuya worries about her as he doesn't know how much booze Chizuru can handle.

Kazuya intentionally loses to save Chizuru, but at the end of the game, he's too out of it to move by himself. Consequently, Chizuru helps him reach home and comforts him until he falls asleep.
