For those of you who aren’t that familiar with the title, Republique is an episodic action-stealth game, originally released for the iOS in 2013, then it got ported to Android in 2014 and had a steady launch when it hit Steam earlier this year in February.
Publisher GungHo Entertainment has decided to continue bringing Hope’s escape story, the protagonist, to more platforms. The publisher announced, via a press release, that the game will come with all of the five episodes. It is set to launch in early 2016 for the PS4 via the PlayStation Store.
Camouflaj studio head Ryan Payton expressed his happiness and thanked GungHo Entertainment for helping them bring Republique onto consoles.
“Having been so inspired by early PlayStation titles, it’s with much joy and a touch of irony that the full Republique experience will arrive on PS4,” Payton said in the press release. “I can’t thank GungHo enough for supporting our efforts to faithfully translate Republique into a true console experience.”
It’s a good idea to have all five episodes in one release and if you haven’t tried it out yet, you still have the chance since episodes four and five are still to come.
