In being faithful to the original, the Resident Evil 2 remake includes "The 4th Survivor" scenario where you play as Hunk. A new trailer shows the hero fight off groups of the undead, some of which are pretty explosive.

The trailer, which you can watch below, shows off some gameplay from the bonus "4th Survivor" scenario. We see Hunk (stylized as HUNK) face a variety of foes from the game including the standard human zombies, zombie dogs, lickers, and the scariest man in a trench coat I've ever seen, Mr.X. By the end, we see our masked hero get eaten and its pretty gruesome.

To unlock "The 4th Survivor" scenario and play as Hunk, you'll first have to complete your first playthrough with either Leon or Claire. Once you've done that, you have to complete the game again with the opposite character in the second playthrough. After that, you are free to check out the scenario.

If you do manage to beat that, you'll be able to play as a hunk of tofu. No, that is not a typo. Just like in the original Resident Evil 2, "The Tofu Survivor" scenario is back and you can play as a giant piece of tofu. It is as ridiculous as it sounds. Fun fact: the tofu model used in-game was actually created by scanning real tofu.

Resident Evil 2 has been on a lot of our minds here at DualShockers. It was one of the main topics on this week's episode of Drop In/Drop Out and we got a nice little guide containing some tips to help you out as you scour through Raccoon City. Most recently, Staff Writer Jordan Boyd wrote about his love with Mr. X and I've got to say, I agree with him.

Resident Evil 2 is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Oh, it's also been available for PSOne for like 21 years now. You can check out Logan Moore's review of the game where he said, "Resident Evil 2 is likely the single most excellent video game remake ever created and I'm hard-pressed to think of anything else that could even compare." This is also coming from the guy who says Metroid Games "aren't that great" so I'll leave it to you to form your own opinions on both matters.
