Well, this is the last thing I thought I would ever write about this Saturday morning. Announced

">via Twitter, PUBG Mobile has partnered with Resident Evil 2 and released a teaser video along with it. The tweet and video can be viewed below.

In all honesty, I have absolutely no clue what this could be about. Is PUBG Mobile getting a full-on zombie mode? I doubt it. I can't believe that a big announcement like that would be tied to a collaboration. I wouldn't be surprised if it was just a Leon Kennedy outfit or something. However, it is still a little weird to have these two vastly different games announce a collaboration.

While Fortnite and Call of Duty's new Blackout mode have dominated the battle royal genre on the console scene. PUBG Mobile has been a huge success on mobile platforms. Back in August, the title reached over 100 million downloads and the number just keeps on rising. The game even runs incredibly well compared to its Xbox counterpart.

PUBG Mobile is currently available on iOS and Android devices. Resident Evil 2 is slated to release on January 25, 2019, on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. If you have yet to pre-order the title, you can do so here through Amazon.
