There's a ton of cosplay in 2020 -- with The Witcher and Final Fantasy VII Remake surging in popularity, it is no wonder they continue to be recurring themes. However, people are a tad more hesitant to touch another 2020 heavy hitter, Resident Evil 3 Remake. Thankfully, Russian cosplayer Oniksiya is giving fans of horror some love, with a new photoshoot of fan-favorite secret agent Ada Wong.

With Resident Evil 3 Remake slowly creeping on the horizon and Nemesis in view, all eyes are on Capcom and the legendary horror series. With this in mind, cosplayer Oniksiya thought it was a great opportunity to break out her signature Ada Wong cosplay. Seen in the gallery below, you can see this is a take on the relatively recent remodel of Ada Wong that fans of the series got for Resident Evil 2 Remake.

What are the main differences? If you never played the original PS1 version of Resident Evil 2, the fan-favorite secret agent looked vastly different. Swapping out a high collar dress for a more low-cut dress, most fans have appreciated the new spy-centric look. With that said, the photoshoot by Oniksiya does a great job of capturing the mysterious vibe of Ada Wong, along with her alternate trenchcoat outfit.

Unfortunately, we haven't seen any indication on whether she will be making an appearance in Resident Evil 3 Remake -- while the original version is (mostly) absent of her, I don't think it would surprise anyone if Capcom allowed for a cameo as a bit of fan service. But that may just be my hopeful thinking.

In any case, Resident Evil 3 Remake has been making the rounds over the past couple weeks thanks to a steady stream of news. Besides the new trailer above, we learned that the new version will be axing Mercenaries Mode and multiple endings, looking to make a more streamlined approach. Meanwhile, if you haven't caught some of the new character designs working in the new engine, Capcom just released a new batch of screenshots.

Resident Evil 3 Remake will launch on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on April 3, 2020. If you haven't already, feel free to pre-order the physical edition of the game on Amazon to help support the site (though it won't get you the new Nemesis dynamic theme). Finally, check out Oniksiya's official cosplay Instagram to check out some of the other projects she's worked on.
