If you want to take another good look at the recently-revealed Resident Evil 2 remake, you have come to the right place.

Capcom just released a new gameplay video showing just over five minutes of the resurrected survival horror game. The video is in full 4K resolution and looks absolutely pristine (as much as you can say that about horror I guess).

It definitely shows that the engine used in Resident Evil 7 biohazard is a keeper, and can do remakes just as well as it does new games. It'll be interesting to see what the publisher from Osaka will manage to achieve by applying this tech to more of its catalog titles, since they seem very keen on doing it more going forward.

You can check out the video below. If you want to see more, you can enjoy the announcement trailer, the first screenshots and details. You can also watch another video directly from E3 2018, and read our hands-on preview.

Resident Evil 2 will release on January 25th, 2019 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
