Today during the PlayStation Live coverage from E3 2018 in Los Angeles, Capcom showcased some live gameplay of the Resident Evil 2 remake.

We get to see Leon’s gameplay, but Claire Redfield will also return with her full campaign. The game looks fantastic, completely remade with the same engine used with Resident Evil 7 biohazard.

There have been a lot o mechanical tweaks and changes made to the game. For instance, the developers tried to make the combat against the zombies more intense. The shooting also feels more natural, more similar to Resident Evil 7.

Some elements and jump scares have been moved in order to avoid players knowing and expecting everything as they play the game, but the general experience is the same.
