After having been confirmed almost three years ago to have been in development, Capcom finally revealed the first footage of the Resident Evil 2 remake during Sony’s E3 showcase.

As you probably would expect, the reveal trailer features RE2’s main protagonists Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield but they both look much better thanks to modern visuals. It also seems as though the camera will now be over-the-shoulder more akin to more recent Resident Evil games.

You can find the new reveal trailer for Resident Evil 2 at the bottom of the article.

Perhaps the best news of all, Resident Evil 2 will be launch early next year on January 25, 2019 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
