Resident Evil 3 is now officially available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Capcom celebrates this launch with a brief teaser trailer showcasing some key moments of the remake.

Nearly a year after Resident Evil 2, Capcom delivered another remake from the Resident Evil series. This time around, featuring Jill Valentine as the lead protagonist, the Japanese developer brought back this classic with stunning visuals and a whole new gameplay design after over 20 years. Although the reviews are not as shiny as those of Resident Evil 2 Remake, it's still an anticipated experience for the fans of the franchise. And its launch trailer is finally here to tell you it's time to step into another crazy scary adventure in Raccoon City.

Playing as Jill Valentine, and Carlos Oliveria in some occasions, your first mission is to survive in the infected inferno of Raccoon City. You'll then go after the key people behind the virus that has almost destroyed the city. Gameplay-wise, Resident Evil 3 is offering the same thing that you've already experienced in RE 2 Remake. With some improvements and minor new features. However, when it comes to the infected and mutated enemies that stand against you, RE 3 seems to be a tougher experience.

Our senior staff writer Ricky Frech rated RE 3 8.5 out of 10, referring to it as a must-play remake with an incredible focus on details both in visuals and gameplay. Other than the review, if you are curious about the most notable differences between the remake versions of Resident Evil 2 and 3, make sure to check them here, as we've already listed them.

It's yet to be seen how far Capcom would be continuing to remake older Resident Evil games. According to some rumors, they are extremely focused on the follow-up to Resident Evil 7 for the time being.
