It seems a bit odd to inform you that there are spoilers starting to appear online for a remake of a video game that originally released in 1999, but hey, I'm just trying to give you a heads up.

Over the past few days, playthroughs for the entirety of Capcom's upcoming remake Resident Evil 3 have started popping up online. While Capcom has done its best to shut down many of the full-looks at the game that have started to appear, that still means that spoilers for the title could still actively be making the rounds. According to some conjecture, it sounds as though the game may have gotten into the hands of consumers in some territories which is how this is all coming about.

Again, the full story of Resident Evil 3 is widely known as the game itself is over twenty years old. As such, the statute of limitations on this game are well up when it comes to spoilers. That said, Capcom has likely taken the liberty to add new aspects to this remake of RE3 that fans are still largely unaware of. This is something that was done last year with Resident Evil 2 to great effect and proved to really improve the game's overall experience compared to its predecessor.

So all in all, just be sure to keep an eye out if you're trying to go into Resident Evil 3 blind. We're a little over a week away from release at this point, meaning that you won't have to wait much longer to see for yourself the new moments that Capcom may have injected into RE3. If you're someone who uses Twitter or other social media platforms a lot, I'd definitely suggest using some keyword filters to help minimize the chance that you'll have anything from the title ruined for you prior to release.

Resident Evil 3 will launch on PS4, Xbox One, and PC next week on Friday, April 3. Stay tuned for a more opinionated look at the game closer to release. Until then, a demo for RE3 is available on all of the game's platforms right now.
