Now at the helm of the Resident Evil 4 Remake, Hirabayashi shared that the development process of the remake is near completion. This means that the game's March 24th release date is looking likely and that no delays are expected by the studio. The producer also shared that they will share more content from the anticipated title as they get closer to the launch.

Speaking to Famitsu, Hirabayashi said Capcom is "working hard to provide you with more information about Resident Evil RE:4 in preparation for its release on March 24th." The producer then went on to state that the Resident Evil 4 Remake is "in the final spurt" of the development process, and urged fans to "wait just a little longer."

It is also worth noting that Capcom's Resident Evil 4 Remake was recently rated 'mature' by ESRB for its gory content. According to the rating summary, the upcoming remake of the 2005 survival horror includes "intense and graphic violence, strong language" and of course, "dismemberment of enemies." What's more interesting in the rating summary is that it states the game has "in-game purchases," which caused players to speculate about a possible multiplayer mode as well.

The original Resident Evil 4 is considered one of the best examples of the survival horror genre. Capcom's hit title implemented certain gameplay elements like ammo scarcity, the high number of enemies, and narrow areas in its gameplay. These mechanics kept the player always on alert, resulting in a rich and immersive gameplay experience that keeps the player on edge. The upcoming remake will hopefully revisit the working formula of the successful entry when it launches on March 24, 2023. Based on the new comments from the producer, we should not expect any delays as they are still gunning for the targeted release date.
