Capcom has announced that Resident Evil 6 will be making its way over to the PC on March 22, 2013 and will be available for purchase at retail and digitally.

The PC version not only contains all the content found in the console versions but also includes all the additions that were included in the title updates. Gamers that purchase the game through Steam will get access to the following features:
  • Cloud Saves
  • Achievements
  • Leaderboards
  • Friends Support
  • Game Overlay
To play the game, the minimum specs are:
  • Windows Vista/XP, Windows 7, Windows 8
  • Intel CoreTM2 Duo 2.4 Ghz or better, AMD AthlonTM X2 2.8 Ghz or better
  • 2 GB RAM
  • 16 GB free hard drive space
  • NVIDIA GeForce 8800GTS or better
  • DirectX: 9.0c or greater
  • Standard audio device
Recommended specs for playing the game are:
  • Windows Vista/XP, Windows 7, Windows 8
  • Intel CoreTM 2 Quad 2.7 Ghz or better, AMD PhenomTM II X4 3 Ghz or better
  • 4 GB RAM
  • 16 GB free hard drive space
  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 or better
  • DirectX: 9.0c or greater

Capcom has also announced that they will be releasing a second title update for Resident Evil 6 that will be available January 22, 2013 and brings along more improvements to the game. Agent Hunt Mode will be available without having to complete the campaign, stages within chapters can be selection once completed, and players will be able to activate quick time assist in any difficulty.

Also Xbox 360 owners will be able to purchase the game digitally when it hits Games On Demand this holiday season. It may have been a rocky launch but Capcom is putting their support behind Resident Evil 6 and PC owners will want to consider picking the game up when it is released next year.
