Resident Evil 7: Biohazard's final update to its playable teaser, titled "Midnight", is available right now as a free download from the PlayStation Store for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro, and PlayStation VR. Capcom announced the "massive" addition today during PlayStation Experience 2016 alongside a new trailer.

Originally, the “Kitchen” demo was the only PlayStation VR-playable Resident Evil 7 teaser and at the time, people only speculated that it was tied to a new game in the franchise. Since it’s announcement at this year's E3, Resident Evil 7 has received two playable teaser sections.

Resident Evil 7 takes many cues from older entries in the series, with a focus on survival horror and inventory management, looking less like the action-oriented previous entry Resident Evil 6 and more like Hideo Kojima-san's Playable Teaser, or PT, which debuted two years ago.

Resident Evil 7 is set to release for PlayStation 4, PlayStation VR, Xbox One, and PC on January 24 in Europe and North America and January 26 in Japan. For all of the our previous coverage on the game go here.
