The next chapter of the long-running Resident Evil series is on its way next month with the release of the highly-anticipated Resident Evil VII: Biohazard, and while PlayStation 4 owners have had the chance to experience the terror hands-on, Xbox One and PC players will soon get to experience the terror themselves as well.

In an update on the company's blog, Capcom has announced that the demo for Resident Evil VII will be arriving for Xbox One on December 9th, 2016 and PC on December 19th, 2016, giving players on those platforms their first chance at hands-on time with the game before its release at the end of January. Both platforms will feature the complete demo with all of its available updates, and PC users will also receive "PC-specific settings and graphics options to adjust to your liking" for experiencing the demo.

The Resident Evil VII demo originally released during this year's E3 2016 to coincide with the announcement of the title, and since then has seen multiple updates and new content ahead of its impending release. The demo's latest update was released during last weekend's PlayStation Experience, and includes a first-look at the VR functionality with will be available first on Playstation VR at launch.

Resident Evil VII: Biohazard will release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on January 24th, 2016.
