On Friday Capcom took to Twitter to announce that Resident Evil: Code Veronica X would be coming to PS4 through Sony’s backward compatibility feature.

In a tweet from the official Resident Evil account:

Code Veronica was originally released for the SEGA Dreamcast in 2000. It was later upgraded and ported to the PS2 and Gamecube titled Code Veronica X.

Many fans consider Code Veronica the true sequel to Resident Evil 2.

In 2011 the game was remastered and released on PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2011. You can check out our review for that by clicking right here.

Resident Evil: Code Veronica X will be available on May 9 in North America and May 10 in Europe.
