To go along with today's release of Resident Evil: Revelations coming to the PS4 and Xbox One, Capcom has released a new trailer for the remaster showing off its improved visuals.

For those that might be unaware, Resident Evil: Revelations is a spin-off title in the Resident Evil franchise that takes place between Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5 and stars fan favorite protagonists Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield. The game was originally released in 2012 exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS before later being remastered in HD and launching on PC, PS3, Wii U, and Xbox 360 in 2013. Earlier this spring, Capcom revealed that they would be bringing Resident Evil: Revelations to PS4 and Xbox One later in the year for the mere price of $19.99.

Capcom went on to announce a few months later that a Switch version of Resident Evil: Revelations would also arrive in 2017, but that version of the game does not release today. As of now, Capcom has given us no new information regarding the specific window in which this might arrive but we do know that the game's sequel, Resident Evil: Revelations 2 will be included. Of course, this could mean that the Switch version of the game could be more expensive than that of the PS4 and Xbox One editions, but this is just speculation.

If you would like to check out today's new launch trailer which showcases the best visuals that Resident Evil: Revelations has ever seen, then you can find it at the bottom of the page. When we have more information on the Switch release of Resident Evil: Revelations, then we will let you know.
