Ok, now I've seen some funny blunders in my time but this one may just take the cake. A Vietnamese Skin Care company called Medcare Skin Centre began an advertising campaign for its new location, and posted a picture of an employee standing in front of its new logo and slogan; "Our Mission Your Satisfaction"
Of course, nothing about this is unusual as companies do this all the time. What makes this hysterical is the logo used in the image. As you can tell, the center's logo is basically a straight rip off of the Umbrella Corp from Resident Evil. The fact that it is being used on a skin care facility only doubles down on the humor. It was first spotted on Reddit, when a user posted the image with a tag phrase "And so it begins". It only continued with Geek Culture posting an image of the logo hanging outside its facility in Vietnam.
The company issued a statement about the matter, indicating that the logo was created by a hired, third party. I'm not saying that the company hired to do the logo did this as a joke, but it has to be one huge coincidence to get a logo that is a blatant copy of one that appears in one of the most famous video game franchises of the last decade. I would, however, like to see this company's list of offered services. I mean, are there zombie skin grafts? Nemesis-T guts facial scrubs? All I know is if the head of the Medcare Skin Centre is someone named Oswell Spencer I'd move out of the country pretty quickly.

Our team is highly specialized in taking care of skin conditions for our clients and logo design is completely out of our specialty and was consulted and completed for us by a hired third-party. We understand the urgency of the situation; working to quickly to provide appropriate answer to our clients, partners, community and to the movie and game producers and copyright holders of the artwork. We hope for your understanding that the situation is not an intentional infringement of copyright by Medcare Skin Centre.
We will continually update our progress on the website and social media presence. Once again, we are very sorry and look forward to your understanding and support.”
