Today Microsoft Xbox Division Head Phil Spencer had good news to share for those who would like to play Resident Evil VII: BioHazard on both Xbox One and PC.We already knew that the Xbox One and Windows Store versions of the game had shared save data, but today we learn that the game will actually be part of the "Play Anywhere" program, which means that you just need to get it once and you can play it both on Xbox One and on PC via Windows Store.

Resident Evil VII: Biohazard will release on January 24th in North America and Europe, and on January 26th in japan.

On top of the Windows Store and Xbox One versions, the game will also be available on Steam and PS4.

Incidentally, Capcom recently detailed the game's Season Pass, and released two new trailers: one is serious, the other is... less serious.
