Resident Evil Village has been incredibly popular among the fans of the series since its launch, and Capcom is well aware of this as the publisher has already prepared a huge DLC for later this year!

Hopefully, you can expect a new story-driven adventure, a huge improvement for the Mercenaries mode, and the third-person camera view for the main campaign in Resident Evil Village Winter's Expansion.

The new story-driven adventure follows the story of the game after several years when Rose is a teenager who can't get along with her superpowers. Playing as Rose, players will return to the village once again, facing some familiar faces as well as new enemies. Shadows of Rose will be a first-person experience similar to the original campaign.

We strongly suggest you avoid watching the trailer for Shadows of Rose if you haven't played Resident Evil Village yet, as it contains heavy spoilers about the original campaign of the game, where you get to play as Ethan.

Next up, Capcom has a huge update for the Mercenaries mode, adding new content to it featuring Chris Redfield, Karl Heisenberg, and Alcina Dimitrescu. The new content is called The Mercenaries Additional Orders. Unfortunately, we didn't have any more details about this new content.

Last but not least, Capcom will be delivering a third-person camera view to the original campaign of Resident Evil Village. So, yes! You will be able to follow the story of Ethan the old-fashion way if you still believe Resident Evil is best when played in third-person view!

All these new additions are bundled inside the Resident Evil Village DLC called Winter's Expansion, which will be available on October 28 this year.

If you don't own Resident Evil Village yet, you can pre-order the Gold Edition now, which will be available on October 28, including the game itself as well as the Winter's Expansion.
