Resident Evil fans are eagerly waiting for the new DLC to arrive, and it seems like their wait will finally come to an end next week.

We saw a number of announcements related to Resident Evil in the recent State of Play showcase. Apart from the Resident Evil Village VR reveal, we also saw the much-awaited announcement of the Resident Evil 4 Remake. When it comes to the VR port of Resident Evil Village, it looks absolutely stunning and even scarier. Players get a pretty similar experience as compared to the regular game, which has been the case for previous VR ports of the Resident Evil games as well. While the showcase was quite an impressive one, fans were still disappointed since one of the most anticipated things was still missing.

The first DLC for Resident Evil Village is being awaited by tons of players out there, and Capcom has been relatively silent about it. However, it seems like all prayers have finally been answered as we might be getting the DLC revealed at the upcoming Capcom showcase which is slated to take place on the 13th of June. Along with that, we will also likely be seeing Dragon's Dogma as well as per rumors.

When it comes to Dragon's Dogma, a number of things are pointing towards the release of the sequel. Apart from the website getting updated, Hideaki Itsuno, the director of the first game recently retweeted the Capcom showcase tweet which possibly suggests that we could be seeing something around the franchise in the event. Capcom has emphasized that it will be focusing on previously announced titles, so Dragon's Dogma could be one of the perfect candidates to build up the hype around the event.
