The internet is no stranger to being thirsty, but with the latest reveals tied to Resident Evil: Village, this past week saw the internet indulge in the thirst trap known as Lady Dimitrescu, or as she's better known as the "Tall Hot Vampire Lady." Introduced as one of the main antagonists in RE: Village, naturally the internet has been curious to know more about the attractive (and notably very tall) vampire, and some internet sleuthing may have revealed just how tall she actually is.

Kotaku's Ash Parrish went to extensive lengths to try and determine the exact height of Lady Dimitrescu, the tall vampire diva that's become the object of the internet's affection over the past week. While obviously there's no exact way to determine her height in-game, Parrish at least gives a good estimate of how tall that she really is, and the answer based on what she found is very tall.

To determine Dimitrescu's height, Parrish utilized elements from the "Maiden" demo that released for Resident Evil: Village yesterday. Specifically, at the end of the demo when Lady Dimitrescu makes an appearance, she briefly ducks under a doorway that leads into the game's castle setting, with her shoulders roughly coming up to the very top of the door frame. Using the doorway and some in-game details that suggested the castle was established in the 15th century, she used measurements from a similar 15th century French door, which measured to about 86 inches from top to bottom. Adding an extra 10 inches to account for the height of her neck and head, that leads to a total of around 96 inches, or 8 feet tall.

Obviously this is all mostly educated guessing, but it still gives a good idea that yes, the Tall Hot Vampire Lady from Resident Evil: Village is indeed very tall, and yes, she can and will step on you. Thankfully, you won't have too much longer to meet her in-person (in-vampire?), as Capcom has officially confirmed that the game will release on consoles and PC this spring.

Resident Evil: Village will release for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 7, 2021.
