I’m fairly sure I don’t need to explain to you what an impact Resident Evil‘s Lady Dimitrescu has had on the gaming world. Everywhere you look, there she is – all eight feet tall of her – as she thrills the community with her broad shoulders and hands that could snap your neck. We really are a weird bunch, aren’t we? While we don’t expect the commotion to die down over the “Tall Lady” anytime soon, it is lovely to see that the mistress of the night has inspired artists to sketch some amazing artworks of her.

Over on Reddit, where there’s a huge host of talented artists showcasing their work, one user by the name of shimhaq98 has shared their version of Lady Dimitrescu. What particularly drew me to this piece is that she is shrouded in mystery. Why does she have her claws out? What just happened to warrant that? and why is she looking down at me with those piercing yellow eyes? I also love how the edges of the drawing are smudged making her look like she just materialized from thin air, ready to pounce. The ravens in the background also maintain the chilling and spooky effect the artist has tried so hard to capture.

If you enjoy Resident Evil‘s Lady Dimitrescu fan art, check out artist David who took on the mistress of the darkness herself and somehow, made her even more sinister than ever, or for a huge collection of Reddit fan art that’s all in one place for your convenience, take a look at this article that showcases the “Tall Lady” as well as her “daughters“.

Resident Evil Village will release for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 7, 2021.
