Resident Evil is no stranger to getting players all hot and bothered with its characters. I haven’t forgotten how a lot of Twitter was thirsting over Nemesis when the remake of Resident Evil 3 came out last year. I’ve seen the fan art. I’m frightened but I respect it.

Now, fans of the horror franchise have another character to be completely feral for. We don’t know her name yet but the tall vampire lady from Capcom’s upcoming Resident Evil Village has the internet in a frenzy of wanting to be lifted up over her tall broad shoulders and then fed on for days on end.

Not much is known about the tall vampire lady other than she’s already appearing to be an imposing force in the yet to be released game. Her appearance in the most recent tease was brief but just enough stir all kinds of feelings. She gives off major Bayonetta while Christmas shopping energy and that alone is enough for myself and many other people. Her Victorian-era vampiric style caught fans’ attention last year when she was first revealed and now that attention has turned into mass incarcerations to horny jail for a large community on Twitter.

I don’t know what her goal or motivations are yet but I agree with them. If Resident Evil 7’s Ethan Winters and swole-again returning character Chris Redfield have to go toe to toe with her then they will surely have their work cut out for them. Whatever the case, everyone is definitely excited to see what she brings to the story as well as the action.

Vampire lady’s legion of thirsty fans, and Resident Evil fans too I guess, won’t have to wait long for more details. Capcom is taking cues from many other studios these days and hosting their Resident Evil Showcase event next week to give us even more details and gameplay leading into the release of Resident Evil Village. The livestream is set for January 21st at 2pm PT/5PM ET. Whether you’re a fan of the series or a fan of tall vampire ladies that could murder you with their bare hands then it’s likely something you won’t want to miss. And if you do manage to miss it, Twitter will undoubtedly be set ablaze with fan art and thirst tweets to bring you up to speed.
