Respawn Entertainment, the massive developer behind Jedi: Fallen Order, Apex Legends, and Titanfall, is apparently working on yet another new IP.

Because three massive successes clearly aren't enough, the developer is currently in the early stages of working on this new title. At least, that's what can be gleaned from a recent job posting. On Respawn Entertainment's site, a listing for a generalist software engineer is available. While the role itself isn't extremely notable, what does stand out is that it's explicitly for a new IP. Whoever ends up landing the position will have "ground floor involvement in developing a brand new IP."

For an added bonus, whoever gets this position won't have to worry about unsavory development practices. In the job's details, Respawn promises that it has a "hard-zero policy against crunch and overtime."

Apex Legends Nintendo Switch Edition to Be Announced Today

Of course, there aren't any details on what this new IP from Respawn Entertainment could be. The job listing is extremely vague and doesn't hint at what a potential setting could be. If anything, this posting shows that this new IP is likely in its extremely early stages, being worked on by a bare-bones team.

In case it wasn't already clear, Respawn already has some other work on its hands with its other games. While there isn't word of another Titanfall game in the works (sadly), Jedi: Fallen Order will be growing into a full franchise. Likewise, Respawn is continuing support for its massively successful battle royale title, Apex Legends.

Most recently, Respawn developed a new entry in the Medal of Honor franchise, Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond. In our review for it, Ricky Frech found the game to be a worthwhile adventure through World War II in VR.
