If you like badass, retro-style prizes and have any artistic talent at all, listen up. The one-man-army over at Vblank Entertainment is holding a fan art contest for the upcoming WiiWare title Retro City Rampage. All you have to do is draw a picture of the game’s main character (cleverly named “PLAYER”) stealing himself a flaming DLX-88 (that’s a car) using his light gun. Wait, isn’t that exactly what I posted above? Yeah, that’s the example. It’s up to you to re-imagine that scene in the coolest way possible to win the contest.

The piece may be created using any medium including but not limited to
Digital Art, Pixel Art, Paintings, Claymation, Lego, Cake, Hamburgers,
Tacos and Ground Beef.

What can you win? Well, the one winner of this contest will receive a Retro City Rampage NES cartridge (!!!) signed by the developer, Brain Provinciano. That’s so cool. Check out a picture of said cartridge, as well as full rules over on the contest page. The deadline is December 6th, so get cracking! I actually may start working on my entry very soon. That cartridge is too cool.
