Return to Space with Homeworld Remastered Collection in February; Gearbox Software Reveals Awe-Inspiring Footage

With remasters and HD remakes being all the rage as of late, classic titles from the past like Resident Evil HD Remaster have enabled players to relive classics in a new way, and now those with fond memories of the Homeworld series will be able to do the very same this winter.

Gearbox Software revealed through a press release that the studio’s upcoming Homeworld Remastered Collection will release on February 25th, 2015, which will include previous titles in the Homeworld series at a price of $34.99 through PC. Currently, pre-order offers for the game will also offer the game at a 15% discount for just $29.74, collecting both Homeworld, Homeworld 2, and a brand new entry in the series titled Homeworld Shipbreakers.

Alongside the reveal of the collection’s release date, Gearbox also revealed a new teaser that shows some of the game’s tantalizing HD updates, which you can check out in full below for the beautifully-revised visuals and gameplay.
