Returnal update 1.4.1 fixes some issues with daily challenges and eliminates a rare bug that could corrupt your save files.

As one of the successful early hits of PS5 in 2021, Returnal is the first AAA title from Housemarque that probably performed well enough to convince Sony for acquiring the studio.

Although the game launched with a pretty solid technical performance level, there are always a number of bugs to fix in every game. When it comes to roguelike titles, even the minor bugs could lead to an unfair situation, and that’s why fixing all the bugs has a high priority for developers.

Since its launch, Returnal has received a bunch of updates, mostly focusing on bug fixes, and today another one deployed as well. The new update allows players to unlock three platinum achievements in Act 3.

Also, a rare save corrupting bug and a few daily challenge issues have been fixed. Below, you can read through the details.

Make sure to contact the studio’s support team if you still face any serious issues that have not been fixed yet.

After Housemarque’s acquisition, the Finnish developer revealed that they will work on even bigger projects in the future. The studio has never worked on a sequel so far as they don’t believe in extending a franchise. However, with Sony’s supervision and Returnal‘s success, fans might have a little hope for a sequel to Selen’s story.

Returnal is now available exclusively on PS5. The game costs you $69.99 similar to the other triple-A PS5 exclusives.
