Along with the wealth of Switch-themed news from the recent Nintendo Direct which included announcements like Warframe making its way to Switch and Pokémon creators GameFreak gearing up for an entirely new IP called Town, we were treated to our first glimpse of a new Super Smash Bros. Ultimate bundle which is set for release later this year.
The bundle features a gorgeous gray Super Smash Bros. Ultimate-themed Switch dock sporting artwork which shows sketched images of series eight veterans with Mario, Samus, Fox, and Kirby charging in from the left facing off against Link, Donkey Kong, Pikachu, and Yoshi as they emerge from the right. The black Nintendo Switch logo taking its position as the centerpiece. The color scheme continues onto the console’s Joy-Cons which, when combined, display the traditional Super Smash Bros. logo.
The Super Smash Bros. Ultimate bundle also contains a download code for the full game featuring new characters such as Animal Crossing’s Isabelle and Donkey Kong Country’s villain King K Rool which can be played when becomes available on December 7. The bundle can be purchased prior to the games release as it’s booked to hit the shelves on November 11.
