Rhythm-Tower Defense Game LOUD on Planet X Dated for PC/PS4

Those keeping abreast of the indie or Kickstarter scene may have heard of LOUD on Planet X. The game, developed by Canadian indie studio Pop Sandbox, hopes to merge the rhythm and tower defense genre, tasking players to take on the role of a band defending the main stage from aliens. Announced earlier today via a Kickstarter update, the game will be heading to PC and PlayStation 4 on April 19, 2016 followed by an iOS and Android release on April 21.

Additionally, for those (like myself) who think this game would make a perfect addition to PlayStation Vita’s library, Pop Sandbox agrees. In a PlayStation Blog post earlier today, the devleopers wrot that they are “hoping to add PS Vita soon” with “more news to come.” For those wondering what exactly LOUD on Planet X looks or sounds like, check out the trailer below.
