Rick and Morty S5 EP5 Recap

The previous Rick and Morty episode was titled "Amortycan Grickfitti," and it starts with Rick and Jerry planning a guys' night. On the other hand, Morty and Summer give their best to impress the new kid in the school, Bruce Chutback.

Rick and Jerry use a device to summon a group of demons from Hell. Apparently, these Demons feed on people's misery, and they like to hang out with Jerry because to them, he's a loser. One Demon even went on to say that  "His (Jerry's) lameness is like our candy."

Morty and Summer take Chutback on a space ride on Rick's spaceship. To do that, they turn off the ship's defense system. On the other hand, Beth finds out that Rick and these Demons are making fun of Jerry. She tries ridiculing the demons for what they are doing, but they convince her to hang out with them.

Things turn ugly when Jerry realizes that these Demons, Rick, and his wife are having fun at his expense. He stops doing lame things, and because of this, the Demons start killing other people. Then, they capture Jerry and takes him to hell. Beth and Rick follow them, and after getting frustrated, Rick comes up with a plan to defeat all the demons and end this nonsense once and for all.

Meanwhile, the defense system of Rick's car comes online, and it starts having fun on its own. For that, it heads to a planet and ends up killing some robots, who were almost similar to Transformers. However, thanks to that same car, they successfully escape that planet without getting harmed. What's even better is that none of the adults finds out about the mess their kids have made on alien planets.
