Rick and Morty S5 EP6 Recap

The previous Rick and Morty episode was titled “Rick & Morty’s Thanksploitation Spectacular.”

The episode kicks off with Rick and Morty breaking into a government office to find a secret treasure map. However, things turn ugly when Morty accidentally destroys the Lincoln Memorial, the Liberty Bell, and the Statue of Liberty.

Then, everyone finds out that a robot was hidden inside the Statue of Liberty that goes on a rampage. Now, the President is furious at Rick for making this mess, so he asks him to surrender. However, Rick plans to turn himself into a Turkey and get a pardon, a strategy Rick has used several times in the past.

As expected, the President sees through Rick’s plan and turns some marines into Turkey to identify Rick.

Both Rick and Morty disguise themselves as Turkeys, knocks out two marines, and uses their headsets. Surprisingly, the President turns himself into a Turkey to catch Rick and Morty in action.

This whole plan turns upside down when Rick and the President start fighting, and a random Turkey swallows President’s identifying capsule. This leads to the marines using the president’s DNA on the wrong Turkey, which gives birth to a doughier.

The Turkey-President now turns several Turkeys into guards and takes over the office. Meanwhile, Rick and the Human-President plans to make everything alright by freeing the aliens who fought Turkey dinosaurs in the past. And finally, with combined effort, humanity successfully defeats the Turkey-president.
