Originally revealed by in 2013 at Gamescom by developer Tequila Works as a PS4 exclusive, the whimsical action-adventure game Rime has been relatively quiet in the years since its initial announcement, while new details have re-revealed the title as it will head to multiple platforms later this year.

In a report from IGN FirstRime has officially been re-revealed with a new trailer, with the title confirmed to be releasing on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch in May 2017 by developer Tequila Works. An official description from the studio about what players can expect from the game can be found below:

"A single-player puzzle adventure about discovery, experienced through the eyes of a young boy who awakens on a mysterious island after shipwrecking off its coast. Players must navigate the island’s secrets by making use of light, sound, perspective and even time. Inspired by the rugged, sunbaked terrain of the Mediterranean coast, Rime paints its breathtaking world with a fusion of vibrant colors and moving musical undertones to set the stage for the deeply personal journey that awaits within."
