Rising Storm 2: Vietnam Gets Some Christmas Cheer by Adding Toy Soldiers into the Mix

Rising Storm 2: Vietnam's new map gives the game a festive spin and allows gamers to indulge in 64 player warfare as little green army men.

For most of the year, Rising Storm 2: Vietnam is a very serious affair. The wartime tactical shooter offers massive maps with 64 players, and an array of authentic historical weaponry to boot. However, it’s currently the holiday season, so it’s time for Rising Storm 2: Vietnam to let its hair down and join the party. And it intends on doing just that by unleashing a wave of toy soldiers.

Rising Storm 2: Vietnam – Green Army Men Christmas Special takes place on a jolly Christmas morning inside a well-decorated living room.  Players can indulge in all-out toy warfare across the map as they dart along toy cars’ racing tracks or take cover inside structures created from cardboard boxes and books.

While battling around the Christmas tree, players can gain access to tiny helicopters and use them to circle the room, raining terror down on the toys below or indulging in air-to-air combat with other choppers.

The Rising Storm 2: Vietnam – Green Army Men Christmas Special map is available now and will be live until the first week in January, 2019. If you’ve already spent all your cash on Christmas presents this holiday season; you’ll be happy to know that this update is also free.

Rising Storm 2: Vietnam is available now on PC.
