Risk Of Rain 2: Every Artifact Code & How To Unlock Them

Risk of Rain 2’s artifacts are basically gameplay modifiers that can be enabled before starting a run. They can help, hinder, or just vary the gameplay in new and interesting ways. In order to get them, you’ll need to hunt down some cleverly hidden artifact codes throughout the game’s stages — or you can skip all the legwork and use our guide.
How To Unlock Artifacts
First things first! You’ll need to make it to Sky Meadow, the game’s penultimate stage. As you’re running around dodging Parents and Mini Mushrum artillery, you’ll likely notice a sort of floating island beneath the main map that’s dominated by heavy machinery. That’s not just scenery, it’s called the Compound Generator — and it’s where you want to go.
You can get there by exploring until you find a hatch that leads to a sort of land bridge that connects to it, or if you’ve got enough Hopoo Feathers, you can make a daring quintuple jump off the map’s edge.
Enter An Artifact Code
Once you get to the Compound Generator, you’ll notice an area with nine interactable pedestals that cycle through four different shapes — a cube, a triangle, a diamond, and a sphere. This is where you’ll input the code for the artifact you’d like to unlock. We’ve compiled every artifact code in Risk of Rain 2 for your convenience below.

Enter The Portal To Bulwark’s Ambry
After you’ve entered the code, head go over to the little table in front of the code entry pedestals and interact with the laptop. A portal will spawn — head on inside. It’ll take you to Bulwark’s Ambry, a stage made up of several floating, disjointed platforms. Collect the floating Artifact Key and take it to the Artifact Reliquary (the spherical construct) in the center, but be ready — monsters will start to spawn once you interact with it.
NOTE: The artifact you’re trying to unlock WILL be active. This can make the next step fairly tough, depending on which artifact it is.
Your goal is to defeat monsters until another Artifact Key drops. Once it does, collect it and bring it to the Artifact Reliquary. You’ll repeat this process four times and then bam, you’ve got a shiny new Artifact to play with on your next run. Good luck!
