Roblox New Cursor - How Does it Look? Can You Change It?

Your cursor now looks different in Roblox!

June 30, 2021

The Roblox new cursor makes it a bit smaller, more minimal, and more similar to the Windows cursor.

Roblox has been around for over a decade now. A great platform for both gamers and content creators to enjoy their free time and even earn money. Rather than suddenly big changes, Roblox usually hosts gradual improvements in the user interface and user experience.

The most recent update that you will probably notice as soon as you launch a game in Roblox is the new update shape for the main cursor of the game, which has created a great buzz around the game as of earlier today.

How the New Cursor Looks

The video below will take you on a trip of Roblox cursor history and showcase all the changes in the new update.

The best way to describe the Roblox new cursor is to call it the more minimal version of the Windows 10 cursor. It’s a bit smaller than the previous cursor but features smooth corners that give it a very minimal look. The update has also affected other shapes of the cursor as well.

The hand-shaped Select cursor is now looking smaller than ever. The developers have also added a typing-shaped cursor for the type boxes such as code redeeming boxes.

Can you Change the Shape of the Cursor to the Previous Versions?

No. At least, not for now. The game doesn’t have such an option right now to allow players to change the shape of the cursor to previous versions, but it does sound like a good idea to let them use the cursor they like the most.

Probably if enough players react negatively to the new cursor or ask for an option to customize the cursor shape, the Roblox developers might consider it as an upcoming update to the game. But at the end of the day, the shape of a cursor is not a big deal for the majority of gamers.

Roblox is now available for free on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PC, Android, and iOS.
