Following today’s reveal on Weekly Famitsu, the Japanese arm of Amazon opened pre-orders for Robotics;Notes DaSH by 5pb. This means that we also get a small gallery with the first direct-feed screenshots of the game.

The game is the sequel of the visual novel Robotics;Notes first published in 2012, and is also part of the Steins;Gate universe, as the screenshots will probably clue you about.

The game is set six months after the first game, and it sees the return of many of its characters. A relevant guest is Itaru “Daru” Hashida from Steins;Gate, who will also appear with his adorable otaku attitude.

You can check out the screenshots below. The game will release in Japan on November 22nd for PS4 and Nintendo Switch. At the moment we don’t know whether it’ll make it west, especially considering that its predecessor was never localized.

Personally, I’m not holding my breath all that much, but I can’t say it wouldn’t be a pleasant surprise if we were to get both at some point, especially since Spike Chunsoft has been working on 5pb.’s productions recently.

Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
