Seen by many as the “game of the summer” last year, Rocket League quickly flew into the hearts of many with its frantic, rocket-powered take on soccer, and now the previously digital-only title will be getting its long-awaited physical release this summer with some newly-added content.
Publisher 505 Games has announced that Psyonix’s Rocket League will be releasing its physical version this summer as Rocket League: Collector’s Edition. In addition to bringing the digital title to retail for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, the Collector’s Edition of the game will include the base game plus the game’s DLC content from the Supersonic Fury, Revenge of the Battle-Cars, and Chaos Run packs.
In addition to the game and several of its DLC add-ons, the Collector’s Edition will also debut four “brand new vehicles” not previously released for the digital versions of the game, though no further details on what they will be have been revealed just yet.
The Collector’s Edition will release on June 24th, 2016 for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, while the US edition will release on July 5th, 2016.
Rocket League is available now for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
