Today, developer Psyonix announced that Rocket League is set to receive PS4 Pro support.

The support will arrive on February 21st -- the same day the new Hot Wheels DLC releases -- and will allow the game to run at both 1080p (on a standard PS4) and 4K (on PS4 Pro) at 60 frames per second in all arenas for single and two-player split-screen modes. Meanwhile, three and four-player split-screen modes will offer 60 frames per second in most arenas at the same resolutions. What arenas won't permit this, was not divulged.

In addition to the above mentioned DLC, the update will also bring a new fan-voted “Player’s Choice” Crate, PS4-specific technical improvements, and multiple performance optimizations and bug fixes.

Rocket League is currently available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
