Ever since Rocket League was released a few years back, players have been gifted with a steady stream of content in order to keep the game interesting, and it seems like Psyonix isn't ready to stop any time soon. Today, the developer and publisher announced the Salty Shores update for the game, and just like previous ones, it'll add a ton of content.

Probably the biggest addition in the update is that of a brand new map, which shares its name with the update, Salty Shores. As the name would suggest, it takes place on beach, surrounded by various theme park attractions like Ferris Wheels, roller coasters, and more.

In addition to the new map, the update also includes a brand new Battle-Car and marks the start of Season 8 of the competitive season.

Finally, it was also announced that a brand new in-game event, titled Beach Blast, is set to hit the game on June 11, 2018, although, as of the time of this writing, we have no idea what it will entail.

To celebrate the announcement of the new update, Psyonix also released a brand new trailer, which shows off all the content that players will be getting. You can, as always, check it out at the end of the article.

Rocket League was originally released in 2015 and is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC. If you want to pick up the game on Amazon, you can do so by clicking here.
