Psyonix, developer of the massive hit Rocket League, has revealed a partnership with toy manufacturer Zag Toys to create miniature versions of cars straight from the playing field.

Twelve cars have been announced to release this Spring, including Octane, Dominus, Masamune, Hotshot, Grog, X-Devil, Merc, and Backfire. Each car is packaged in its own Rocket Ball, which also includes a code that can be redeemed in-game for an exclusive rocket trail or wheels.

The line of Original Mini's are "pullback" racers that will wind up when dragged backward, launching forward when released. With the Rocket Ball packaging and a couple of friends, you might even be able to stage your own tournament.

All twelve cars will be sold in stores across North America. Further details about this partnership are still yet to be announced, so stay tuned if you're not yet seeing your favorites in the line-up.

In other Rocket League news, Update 1.28 just dropped and removed the infamous "No Flip" speed exploit.
